Hey guys... I just want to thank everyone here, and say I think you are all awesome!

I don't care if you volunteered, attended meetings, or just showed up to be a part of the show. If you did ANYTHING at all to make this event a success you get a heartfelt thank you from me!

Now, for next year.... can you PLEASE pass along a word of encouragement to at least one person who was not there this year? I may not be in charge of things any more, but I am most certainly involved, and after speaking to Ken and Carlos, there are some BIG plans for next year.

Every time you go to a different event, can you please just mention the show and encourage others to come give it a chance? This could very easily be the biggest and best show in the middle of the country, but it will take word of mouth advertising to get people motivated enough to make the trip.

Is it out of the way for some? Hell yes, but it is TOTALLY worth the trip!

Is it a little pricey? Not really, but if someone would like a cheaper show, we will gladly accept $5500 donation checks to pay for the facility! 



Ok, I tend to ramble a little bit, but seriously... thank you to everyone! Even if you did nothing but read this thread, and pass along the show info to someone... you played a part and you deserve to be thanked!

Perhaps some year I'll be able to make it...haha.  Seriously though, next year I am going to try with all my might to show, as long as I don't deploy before then.  If you have info or anything that you would like hand delivered to APR HQ about next year, just let me know within the next few months.  I am likely going to be done and out of Alabama by next March.  Then I should be in state to help out there

I've made only a handful of phone calls state-side since I've been here, and a few have them have been to pay bills...

I agree 100% with scott, next year is going to be grand! I iwll do everything possible to promote it for next year!
