I talked to Dave and Tyler, and we collectively decided Edition 719 needs to ralley to Ocean City for h2o International in 2010. If you get 10-12 people that are serious enough to thrown down and secure a condo by Janurary, I can make sure you get into the same place that myself, and my brothers and friends will be in.
The condos are like townhomes, but only 6 units. Each unit is 4 stories tall, with 4 bedrooms each. Two of the bedrroms had a single king or queen size bed in them, while the third had 2 doubles. The fourth room had a double, and a bunkbed in it. 3 full bathrooms, and full kitchen, and a sleeper sofa. There were also 4 different balconies in the unit, with one facing Coastal Highway. The best part was the bottom floor. In our unit, we had an oversized 2 car garage, and then on the end, under the main balcony, we had a carport. The carport was literally 3 feet aay from the right lane on costal highway. Coastal highway is the main strip in Ocean City. Imagine Academy Blvd, but straight, and a traffic light every city block. Now imgaine that road with rush hour traffic, and every 8 out of 10 cars being modified VW's, Audi's, BMW's and Merc's..... Even better yet, we pulled the Passat out from the carport, and setup our lawn chairs, coolers, and grille. We really didn't have to move all weekend if we didnt want to.
I have been to every h2o from 15 to 20, and then one in 07 since I joined the AF. This year was by far.... and by far I mean miles.... better than any other VW show I have ever ben to. I would highly encourage you guys to try and pull it together, and lock in the condo.
