Hey guys as you know I'm moving back up to CO at the end of next month, and was wondering what some of your guys' favorite drives were around CO. I know Garden of the Gods is great, North Cheyenne Canyon is fun too, and my personal favorite is up to Estas park, through RMNF and then come back through winter park on the other side of the mountains. Anyways like I said just wondering what your guys favorite drives were and what some good drives for the winter months would be. Look forward to hearin what you come up with

i love the views and roads on highway 50 between canon city and salida.

Gold Camp is pretty fun late late at night. I took my oodi offroading once because i thought Bobby had crashed behind me. Good times.

COS to Woodland park to Deckers to denver to COS. Cant remember the highway to deckers though... Great drive, used to ride it on my crotch rocket when i had it

67 North out of Woodland Park to Deckers and then it turns into 126. Dont stay on 67 as it turns into a dirt road.

I like goin up COS to WP to divide to cripple creek to victor is good too

victor has an awesome pizza/bar up there...mmmm.. .delicious

the 11 miles on 74 I think between Morrison and Evergreen is amazing.

Hwy 24 through the following: Leadville to Red Cliff, over Battle Mountain to Minturn, over to Vail on i-70 back to copper and then to Leadville. Independence pass is always nice.

Million dollar highway, starts in dolores colorado rolls up and around through silverton and back down to durango...fall when the trees change is insane...

I wouldnt call garden of the gods a real drive ...sure it is scenic to drive the speed limit within the park limits...(which is about 20 miles an hour i believe?)_

I say this bc being a runner myself, I have seen plenty of douchebagery *sp* going on with dumb idiots thinking the inside of the park is for doing aggressive driving at the expense of pedestrians, runners and cyclists....

Morrison to Evergreen is always great.....

The ride up lariat loop road to the top of lookout mtn is always nice, bc you can come down and catch 70 on the way back down...

Been there.... Done that....

Driving around in August with the windows down and my system up.... No AC for this kid....

I am sure I will miss the Colorado dry climate.... fingers cracking at the joints because my hands are so dry...

78.6miles door to door one way....157.2 miles a day, 786miles a week. yippie fucking skippy is it fucking fun F-U-N!

on a side note, making the drive and having a good paying career is better than not making the drive and working retail. another 2 years and we can move (hopefully out of CO)

I hear ya man.... I drive 120 miles a day for a good job, and now in a bigass truck (my choice)... but you are right... better to be driving to work than walking to the couch because you aint got a job!
