Need some more cash for flippin stuff.  Don't want to sell it but need to:


Very Rare 1973 Walk-through Panel Van. It was lowered by the PO by installing adjusters on the front beam and 2 notches in the rear.

The body is in good shape - some dents the PO tried to fix but didn't really do much, there is some light pinholing rust in the cab floor, but really not bad at all.
The old front seats (included) were replaced with new black Corbeau sport seats that are WAY more comfortable. New, these seats cost $640 plus $150 for brackets (I got a good deal, just showing value).
I have also added a Westfalia rear seat/bed (just haven't drilled the mounting holes yet).
I have a Porsche 944 Tach that can be mounted pretty simply, and is perfect orientation for use on the Bus dash.

In anticipation of going with Porsche wheels, I bought complete Porsche 944 front spindles - hubs, rotors, calipers, etc. The hubs go right onto the Bus spindles using stock Bus bearings and a diff spacer from Wagens West. A simple bracket allows the calipers to bolt on as well. The rear drums can simply be redrilled.

I have a set of 15x6 replica Fuchs with brand new, zero mile tires mounted by Rex, included. Over $1000 worth of wheels and tires.
Right now it is on black stock 14" steelies with almost new tires in load D (I think) - expensive tires and correct for vanagon campers even.

I bought a Porsche 912 (901 code) 5 speed transmission after reading an article in 1977 Hot VWs about a technician performing this swap on his van. Its a how-to and appears quite simple. The 912 trans is harder to find and is much better for the bus because it is geared lower than the 911 trans because it had much less power. These go for $500-1000 typically. I *have* had a few people be interested in the old trans for the low ring and pinion - it should be worth a fair amount as a builder core because of that.

The stock shift linkage is pretty gone - but I wasn't going to worry about it until swapping to the Porsche trans, since a lot of it would be done than anyway. The stock 4 speed trans is geared super low (though it can do 75mph on the interstate without issue). 3rd gear syncros are gone - have to double clutch, but I've done it since buying it.

The engine is a 1700 Type IV that runs great - stock dual Solex carbs. I picked up a set of 36 DRLA dellortos which I plan on installing in the next week. I've installed an electronic kit which has worked great. I also got a header and fabed a simple muffler setup using a Flowmaster copy. Sounds great, touch louder than I wanted. I've had multiple people ask me how "built" the engine is after hearing it. Ha! I have a 2.0 Type IV builder I still need to pick up from a buddy that would be included.

Other parts I've got include a rear sway bar, $300 worth of door and window seals, some interior panels, etc. etc.

I am looking for $4500 out if it, which with the parts and everything is a solid deal, I feel. Feel free to make a partial trade offer.
