Might be easier to rent a storage unit. They only go for 20-40 a month and it would motivate you more to fix it quicker.

best advice ever. The thing about bikes being layed down is.... why didnt he get it fixed? INS covers that stuff, and the ins company may of wanted to total the bike due to some type of frame damage.

Im not doing anything else to my car based on the fact that....when I come back from Deployment im  buying a R32. End of story.  Oh and if you find me a turbo kit for my car for 750 bucks....i will straight buy it now.

Anyways, Im getting the bike, I wanted to get one that was wrecked because im going for the streetfighter look, no plastics naked bike. An this bike has a clear title, im buying it from a towing company because the dood who wrecked it couldnt pay for it so they have the title for it.

Oh and if I cant get it running, parting it out will net me atleast 1200 bucks.

if you deploy and buy an R, I will buy the 24V from you.

end of story. haha

Let me know when you get the bike, I can probably figure out the wiring issues. If anything buy a shop manual for it and we can hook it up for sure

He didnt get it fixed because getting Physical Damage (comp/coll) coverage on crotch rockets is ungodly expensive, so a LOT of people run with just liability on those bikes.  That would be my guess at least.  But yes, if he had comp/coll and they didnt fix it then it means it was totalled.  Personally i don't buy wrecked cars or bikes.
